These terms apply to orders placed on rosebox.co.uk. Please read them before you order. Last updated 25 October 2026.
1. About us
This website is run by Velvet Rose Box Ltd, trading as Velvet Rose, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 12072329. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. VAT number GB382506200. Email: support@rosebox.co.uk.
2. Your order
When you place an order we email to confirm we have received it. Our contract with you starts when we accept your order, which we do by dispatching it or emailing to confirm acceptance. If we can’t accept your order, for example because something is out of stock, we will tell you and refund any payment.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. Delivery charges are shown before you pay. We take payment when you order. If we have made an obvious pricing mistake, we will contact you before dispatch and you can choose to cancel.
4. Delivery
We deliver to UK addresses on the date you choose at checkout, as described on our delivery page. The box is your responsibility once it is delivered to the address you gave us. If we can’t deliver within 30 days of your order, you can cancel and we will refund you in full.
5. Our roses
Our roses are real flowers, so each one varies a little in shade and shape, and photos are a guide. Preserved roses are not edible: keep them away from children and pets who might chew them.
6. Personalised lids
We copy the text you type, exactly as you type it, so please check it before ordering. We may decline text that is offensive or uses a name or logo you don’t have the right to use, and will refund you if we do.
7. Cancelling and returns
You can cancel within 14 days of delivery as set out on our returns page. This right doesn’t apply to personalised boxes or to food, except where they are damaged or faulty.
8. The 12-month guarantee
We guarantee the shape and colour of your roses for 12 months from delivery, on the terms on our care and guarantee page. The guarantee is in addition to your legal rights, not instead of them.
9. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We don’t exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. If you buy as a business, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
10. Trade accounts
Trade customers buy as businesses, so the consumer right to cancel doesn’t apply to trade orders. Trade orders have a minimum value of £75 before VAT. We may close a trade account at any time.
11. Your information
We use your personal information as set out in our privacy policy.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts there. If you have a complaint, email us first and we will do our best to put it right.
