Preserved roses need no water and very little care. Treat them like a good silk scarf: out of strong sun and away from damp.
Looking after your roses
- Keep the box indoors, away from direct sunlight and radiators.
- Keep it out of damp rooms such as bathrooms and conservatories.
- Don’t water the roses or put them in a fridge.
- Touch the petals as little as possible. Dust them with a soft make-up brush, or a hairdryer on its coolest setting held well back.
- Keep the lid on when you move the box.

Care questions
Are the roses real?
Yes. Every rose is a real flower, grown and cut at full bloom, then preserved with a glycerine-based solution that replaces its sap. It stays soft and keeps its shape without water or light. Some colours are added with dye during preserving.
How long do preserved roses last?
Kept indoors, out of direct sunlight and away from damp, they look the same for a year or more. We guarantee their shape and colour for 12 months from delivery when they are cared for as described on the care card.
How do I look after them?
Keep the box indoors, away from direct sunlight, radiators and damp rooms such as bathrooms. Don't water the roses or put them in a fridge. Touch the petals as little as possible, and if they gather dust, use a soft make-up brush or a hairdryer on its coolest setting from a distance.
What does the 12-month guarantee cover?
If your roses lose their shape or colour within 12 months of delivery while being cared for as described, email a photo to support@rosebox.co.uk with your order number and we will replace the box. It doesn't cover damage from sunlight, damp, water, heat or handling.
